GuruGalaxy Branding
GuruGal/Gurugalaxy is a Youtube channel that was founded in 2014 and provides free graphic design tutorials. This entity focuses on space themes to provide engaging and educational content to its audience.
The objective of this project was to provide a more succinct logo, while maintaining the thematic elements of space. The original logo was simply two "G" letters next to one another to signify GuruGal (Galaxy). By creating a G shape with black hole imagery, we are able to incorporate the brand letter G and provide a more artistic and professional approach to this logo. Adding extra planets and an orbital line helped to balance out the logo, while maintaining uncluttered and succinct.
By making the logo more circular and compact, its use was better suited for branding purposes on multiple social media platforms.
